So many successful outcomes and heartwarming stories. An 80 year-old woman from deep South Ethiopia was living in darkness for 14 years because cataracts in both eyes had stolen her vision. She was no longer able to do daily activities like cooking and cleaning and was totally dependent on her son Melaku. She got the cataract surgery on Tuesday Feb 21st 2023 in Hosanna, Ethiopia and within a day, she was able to see again with both eyes!Heartwarming experience to get so many hugs and hear every morning so many ELLLLLLLLiltas.
