1)  Not enough equipment, not enough tests: That's the reality facing US health care workers. The Trump administration says it will no longer ship personal protective equipment to allies overseas while there is such a critical shortage at home.

2)  US Hospitals see shortage of drugs for Covid-19 patients on ventilators

-Without a steady supply of these medications - necessary for intubation, sedation to support oxygenation, and maintaining blood pressure - ventilators are futile

Sedatives: Benzodiazepines, etomidate, propofol Neuromuscular Blockers: Succinylcholine, vecuronium, rocuronium, Analgesics: morphine, fentanyl hydromorphone Vasopressors to maintain BP: norepinephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin

3)  The US Federal Emergency Management Agency is assessing what’s needed and what supplies are available across the globe. FEMA has began chartering flights with critical supplies from across the world and facilitating the distribution to hotspots and private sector.

4)  US Clinical labs faces a backlog of 200,000 covid19 testa, delaying results by 10-14 days.

5)  The evidence coming from Asia is so overwhelming that the White House coronavirus task force will most probably soon recommend the public wear masks!
Asian countries, where the practice of wearing masks is common continue to see lower infection rates and faster.
